Austin native Django Walker is the son of country music legend Jerry Jeff Walker but has made a name for himself, both as a performer and as a songwriter. After learning the guitar at the age of 15, Django honed his skills by attending the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts and performing live throughout Texas. His song, "Texas on My Mind" was recorded by Pat Green and reached #1 on the Texas Music Chart. His second CD, Six Trips Around the World, was produced by Mark Bryan of Hootie & the Blowfish and was recorded at Bryan's home in South Carolina. Walker credits a variety of musical influences for impacting his music, from the Beatles to Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers to Tom Petty, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Robert Earl Keen, and Guy Clark.
