Dan and Reid Isbell—better known as The Brothers Hunt—are Nashville songwriters, fathers, and lifelong outdoorsmen. Raised in the white oak hollers of Tennessee, they spent their days chasing whitetail and turkeys, their nights strumming guitars, and their teenage years convinced this would all somehow work out.

Eventually, they hauled their boots to Nashville, lived on a boat for five years and talked their way into professional songwriting careers. The paychecks were small, but the gas tank stayed full—allowing them to chase elk, antelope, and mule deer across the country while writing songs that would go on to be recorded by Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Darius Rucker, John Pardi, Gabby Barrett, ERNEST, Justin Moore, Scotty McCreery, and more—including the #1 hit “The Kind of Love We Make” and Luke Combs newest radio single "Rethink Some Things"

All of that wandering, hunting, writing, and storytelling eventually turned into God’s Country Podcast —a #1 rollicking weekly podcast where country music collides with the great outdoors. Each episode dives into how today’s biggest artists and songwriters pull inspiration from dirt roads, deer camps, early mornings, and real-life experiences in the wild.

These days, Dan and Reid live near Nashville raising young families, writing songs, recording podcasts, and squeezing in hunts and fishing trips whenever possible.
